My friend Chuck Hawley of Pink Freud, etc. sent me the guitar riff recorded on a phone, I think. A hazy - almost 8mm - home movie reel had been floating around in my mind for a while. Chuck's beautiful guitar thing became the framework for this amorphous memoir.
